Your examiner will be Rick Hobgood.  Rick is a retired Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) with nearly 28 years of investigative experience in criminal and national security matters.  Rick graduated from the National Center for Credibility Assessment Academy (formerly the Department of Defense Polygraph Institute) in 1995 and was a full-time polygraph examiner for the FBI until his retirement from the FBI Atlanta Office in 2014.   During his tenure as an  FBI polygraph examiner, Rick was involved in high profile criminal and espionage cases.  He also served as a Supervisory Special Agent at the FBI Headquarters Polygraph Unit in Washington, D.C., and  provided oversight and quality control in criminal, national security, pre-employment, and personnel matters.  He is current with all federal continuing education requirements and keeps abreast with developments in the field of polygraph.   Rick has conducted over 5000 exams and continues to work with the federal government as a contractor .  Rick will bring his 28 years of polygraph experience and knowledge to your exam request.


               Prior to his FBI career, Rick proudly served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army Military Police Corps after graduating from the University of North Georgia with a degree in Psychology.
